The world renowned IJSBA quakeysense World Finals is taking place in the City of Lake Havasu, Arizona from October 4, through the 12th at Crazy Horse Campgrounds. After race parties and gatherings are celebrated nightly at various venues throughout the city.

Kokomo Havasu is the hottest night life party scene for personal watercraft competitors and race fans alike. Liquid Militia is sponsoring the crowd pleasing Bikini Contest. Nelscott Kiteboard Rodeo Pro-Am Set For May 30-June 1 In Lincoln City, Oregon

Lincoln City, OR , May 14, 2008 - The Inaugural Nelscott Kiteboard Rodeo Pro-Am attracts some of the top freestyle, wave riders and racers in the U.S.

The Rodeo is a combination of the three disciplines to determine the overall winners. Trophies will be awarded to the top three in each discipline in the respective pro and amateur divisions. The $5,000 purse will be divided up among the top three pros in each discipline and the final Rodeo top three.

The Downwind 5 Mile Race will start at Roads End State Park and end at Nelscott Beach. The Wave contest will also be held at Roads End. The Freestyle Contest will be held in Siletz Bay. All the venues are extremely spectator friendly and we invite all families and fans to join us for this unique event.

Food, drink and booths will be set up to accommodate the public along with oyster shucking and barbeque for the contestants.

Ace's at the Chinook Winds Golf Resort will be hosting a 'Media Dinner' at 7:00pm on Friday, May 30th for all the contestants, organizers, judges and friends with live music and a no host bar.

The Nelscott Reef Surf Shop has teamed with 'Wind Over Water' Kiteboard School of San Francisco to organize, promote and run this unique event. Jeff Kafka, the owner of the school has run many events in the San Francisco area and was the first to actually kite Mavericks, a legendary big wave in Half Moon Bay. Some of the other 'name' athletes coming to participate include Sky Solbach and Damien LeRoy, former top ten in freestyle on the PKRA World Pro Circuit; Fifteen year old Jesse Richman who holds the world record for a 22 second hang time jump and also was #3 in the U.S. 2007 National Kite Races; Dave Tyburski who has been on the Freestyle podium in the USA and is currently a judge and former participant in the PKRA pro world circuit; and Peter Scheibel and Josh Mulcoy, both Waveriders Extraordinaire from Santa Cruz.

Lincoln City has a reputation for it's own 'Aloha Spirit' being the ultimate hosts for events such as this. Lincoln City has established itself in the surfing world as the host of the 'Nelscott Reef Tow In Classic' the premier big wave event held in the fall on the famous reef with an international field of the best towsurfers in the world.
